Welcome to ESU 15

Educational Service Unit #15 was established according to Nebraska State Statutes 79-201 through 79-1243. ESU 15 is an intermediate agency providing educational services to southwestern Nebraska schools in Chase, Dundy, Frontier, Hayes, Hitchcock, and Red Willow Counties. Included in these counties are nine K-12 districts and one K-8 parochial school. The area served covers approximately 5,041 square miles and includes approximately 3,543 K-12 students and 402 teachers. ESU 15 provides "core services" as defined in Nebraska statutes. ESU 15 employees 28 staff members to serve our member schools.

Educational Service Unit #15 is governed by an elected board of 10 members, one representative from each of the established districts. The Legislature through LB 603 requires Nebraska ESUs to align election districts according to population. Educational Service Unit #15 is divided into ten election districts of equal or substantially equal population. The Educational Service Unit #15 board meets monthly at the educational service offices.

9am - 2pm at ESU 15 Trenton - $40 per person includes lunch & limited supply of color copies, laminating & poster printing on a variety of material as well as Cricut machine access.

Administrative Assistants & Office Tech Workshop - June 6th

What an amazing day at ESU 15! Thank you to everyone that made this day possible & to those that were able to attend!

On June 6th, several school secretaries, business managers, & administrative assistants from our ESU 15 district schools & our own from ESU 15 gathered to collaborate, learn AI, Canva, Google, & so many more tips via Zoom. Led by Dr. Lynne Herr from ESU 6 & Jackie Ediger, over 50 participants (ESU 6 & 15) learned time saving & new features to help make their district's office environment run more smoothly along with a few tips to help make their after-school time a little more relaxed & organized.

Save the Date - This unique workshop geared towards school secretaries, business/office managers, administrative assistants & other staff that work in the office, will return to ESU 15 next summer with evern more tips, tricks, & time-saving ideas for our district schools on June 3, 2025!
